1 06 2007

Here’s the current Amazon.com Top Sellers. Looks Like Nintendo still has a reason to make more Mario Party’s as sales still are high for the game, even though its mainly a rehash of more of the same game. (see below) * pre-order

Mario Party 8? I guess this will hold over til Super Smash Bros. Brawl

Wii: Mario Party 8 (released on Wed. May 30th) may be the new release this week, but isn’t new to the party. In fact, this is pretty much the same fanfare you’ve seen for the past few years just with Wii connectivity between you and the on-screen mini games. Whether thats good news or bad, I’ll leave it up to you to decide. Personally, I can’t wait til Super Smash Bros. Brawl comes out in Aug.

Fall of Man # 1 spot

PS3: In today’s world, 3 weeks as # 1 is pretty cool. For Resistance: Fall of Man its a great spot to be, that is until the next cool game comes along. But, as the PS3 landscape is pretty dry, I wouldn’t be suprised if this was the case for more time, that is until Grand Theft Auto IV arrives in the fall.

Odin Sphere

PS2: Guitar Hero II Bundle seems to have been eclipsed by the newcomer from Atlus, Odin Sphere, now claiming the #1 spot. (although imo, Guitar Hero II is still the number one champ)

1. Odin Sphere—Atlus Software
2. Guitar Hero II Bundle—Activision
3. God of War—SCEA
4. Tomb Raider Anniversary—Eidos
5. God of War II—SCEA
